New SOTBMusic: KuntryKali's "Nah Nah"

KuntryKali hit my line about this one a while back. Sorry that I'm just getting to it. However, the Gold Dollar project feels a lot like a Danny Brown-like project mixed with some A$AP Ferg with some leftover DMV "I'm gonna make it" vibes mixed in for good measure. It's a cool project that showcases some serious growth from his earlier songs.

Today, we're going to talk one of the songs on the project, "Nah Nah." We're given an instrumental that'd sound at home in late-1990s, early-2000s non-crunk Southern rap, as it's equal parts trippy and heavy-handed in its approach. On this beat, Kali gives listeners a peep into his evolution. It hasn't been a straight-forward evolution, as it's seen the artist move several times and constantly experiment with flows and production styles. However, on "Nah Nah," Kali is stronger than he's ever been, as he's experimental but honed in more than I've heard him in a while. Check out the track below and support dope music in all its forms.
