New SOTBMusic: @Kelechief Takes Us Through His QLC Through Evolving Playlist

I gave you both streaming options because I'm that supportive of this idea. Kelechi has constantly been improving his bars and his approach to the game. This QLC playlist/album/experience is the culmination of his evolution.

As someone who's gone through a quarter-life crisis, I can attest that this album speaks volumes to that sort of thing. It takes you through the emotions of a young man who's trying to figure out his place in the world, both familial-wise and abroad. From the (somewhat) lie presented in "Momma I'm Good" (because, as the rest of the album states, Kelechi is still trying to get to "good") to the multi-layered message song "Eyes On The Road," Kelechi takes the "Chance rap" energy (positive vibes that still have darkness and reality behind them) and makes it his own.

That's not meant to dilute what Kelechi is doing, mind you. However, there are some definite similarities between the two new-school artists, down to their emphasis on harmony over just simple rapping. So, if you're a Chance fan and you need new music, I advise you peep this. If you're not a Chance fan and you need new music, you still need this one in your earholes.

Check out the project (it's still evolving apparently) below and support dope music in all its forms.
