Vesta reminds me of some eclectic mix between a Solange and Aaliyah. She's got soul, definitely. She hits on some heavy lover topics on her How Singers Cry project, that's for certain. However, her voice also has the capabilities to switch up between just straight soul and that still soulful Pop&B you often got from Aaliyah.
I'm going to go full fanboy and say it. I love her voice and her production choices help compliment her voice. Hopefully she doesn't take this the wrong way, but these tracks are multi-faceted. Some can be played just as often to get someone in the mood for love and straight lovin' as they can be played in the club for those slow grinds (or pole sessions, if you're into that sort of thing).
My favorite tracks are "First Encounter" and the title track. Those are definitely some impressive tracks from this young artist. So, check out How Singers Cry and support dope music in all its forms.
