In the spirit of projects like Childish Gambino's Awaken, My Love, I present a four-track EP from DMV genre-b(l)ender, Sinitus Tempo.
Zone 89 [A/B] traverses a lot of territory, through jazzy licks, boombap-esque drum hits, and samples aplenty. It's like the soundtracks of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo finally decided to make that baby some fans clamored for over the years and it got raised by some sort of beatsmith guru who was, in turn, raised by Gil Scott-Heron and Nujabes. That's possibly the best way to describe the mini-project in my eyes. 2016 has been a busy year for the multi-faceted artist, as we've seen several projects drop almost out of thin air, each more diverse than the last. Add that to work on his own manga series, Allure, and it's clear to see why the young man's resume is as extensive as it is. So, be sure to check this one out along with the rest of Sinitus Tempo's work. You won't be disappointed, as 2017 is looking to be another busy but fruitful year for the 27-year-old
