Now, normally, I don't really like to...who am I kidding? I love showcasing new indie artists and their styles to the world. Today, I've got a producer who's produced for folks ranging from Curren$y to Isa Muhammad. What I love is his production style has that old vibe to it, but still feels new. For instance, his track "William Roberts." It feels like a late-90s Dre track with some ScHoolboy Q energy layered in and it allows Isa to just snap.
I am a twenty-three year-old producer originally from Miami, Florida but now residing in Ottawa, Canada. I'm in my fifth year of being a professional music producer and have produced work for Rick Ross(MMG), Curren$y, and Dizzy Wright. I also produced "Stay The Same," a record from The Underachievers sophomore album, Evermore: The Art of Duality, which debuted #9 on the Rap/Hip-Hop Billboard Charts in 2015. Evermore was also ranked by Rolling Stone as #40 on their list of Best Rap/Hip-Hop album of 2015. What distinguishes me from other producers is that I keep very soulful and vibrant energy in my production that can take you back to when you first loved Hip-Hop with a taste of the new school.
I've created my own lane with my production company, Blue Sky House. I'm independent, but I've studied the game/industry long before I created a beat; I've gotten a chance to meet and learn from Boi-1da, MurdaBeatz, Sonny Digital and other big name producers in the game. I believe in being patient and not rushing greatness. [Overall], I've been making beats since 2012 on his laptop using FL Studio to create his production, with the background of playing the piano and organ at church.
